RESIDENT CLEANING ACTION
In this blog we’re reporting on the continued problem that the Leonardo Village residents and those from Bothasig at large are facing.
The problem is the ongoing illegal dumping of rubbish and “recycled” items related to vagrant activity in the vacant SANRAL piece of land between the town hall’s back fence, N7 off ramp and Bosmansdam Road, up to the murals at the FLM boundary walls.
The community’s been very proactive in reporting and acting on any suspicious human movement in the stretch of open area and a site visit were done after noticing human activity for a couple of days in the second week of January 2025. The observations made during the site visit came as a bit of a shocker and the residents decided they will act decisively to remedy the situation.
