HERE WE GO AGAIN
After not being seen passing through the village since 7 April 2024,
the couple’s presence was spotted again on Monday the 18th of November 2024.
Wednesday morning the 20th of November 2024 reports were received of an Eskom transformer burn out in a lane close by in Oranje Street, Bothasig:
Thursday morning the 21st of November 2024 a WhatsApp video started to circulate which caught them in the act of removing items from the above scene.
Members of the neighborhood watch intervened, and they started leaving the lane in the above video clip and were soon spotted again behind the Bothasig Build IT and Checkers.
From where they entered the village as part of their strategy to get lost to whoever might be following them while also possibly looking to deploy one of their old “tricks” of claiming ownership of a dirt bin as a means of transporting their “loot”. Their usual get away up to know were then from Enza Circle, Link Road, Vryburger Avenue to Bosmansdam Road and bridge over N7 towards Montague Gardens etc.
